Principles of Manual Handling Level 2

APMS are delighted to be working with QUALSAFE in order to deliver superb, high quality, interactive and outstanding standards of training; leading to recognised qualifications across the UK.

 

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their understanding of the principles of safer manual handling.

 

The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling (RQF) qualification has been specifically designed for all employees to help raise their awareness of the risks associated with unsafe manual handling practices. It is also ideal for those who might have to carry out manual handling as part of their job such as handling deliveries, parcels and boxes.

Over a half day period, successful Learners will develop a greater awareness of manual handling, including: common manual handling injuries, the safe movement principles, theory of safe manual handling principles and manual handling equipment. Please note that this qualification does not include practical sessions. Those requiring practical training should undertake the QA Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF).

Enrolment on the course can be done via our website by completing the training request document, or by calling our staff to discuss your needs.

However, when your students attend the venue of your choice they MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC IDENTIFICATION for FULL enrolment, those who fail to provide this documentation will not be allowed to start, and will be unable to enrol as per (QUALSAFE GUIDELINES).

 

During the course students will Fulfil the competencies set out within the QualSafe standards of practical and knowledge-based competencies; including a theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper) and continuous formative assessment conducted throughout the course.

Payment for courses MUST be made in advance, we require a full list of student details (this shall be explained further during the booking process); however, NAMES CANNOT BE CHANGED, this is due to our registration processes agreed with (QUALSAFE).

 

Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling (RQF), certificate personalised with their personal and Centre’s details.

 

Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT, within this price your student will receive a Free Lesson Plan, PowerPoint Presentation, Assessment guide and Multiple-Choice Question Papers.

1/2-day MANDATORY attendance course

Course minimum 5 Students, with a Maximum of 10

 

1-10 Students

1-6 Students = EA @ £55.00

7-10 Students = 4 Students @ £45.00

 

 

Please note, the additional discount is for a group of 10 students, should the total number of students be less than 10, then the individual fee will apply. Unfortunately, once registered, names are non-transferable, therefore no refunds shall be authorised. APMS must receive full payment for the course at least 3 working days before the training date.

 

APMS will supply all necessary equipment to ensure that students are able to fulfil their training needs without compromise.
